Associate Attorney Madison Howard Churchman
Madison Howard Churchman focuses her practice on children’s issues, including divorce with children, custody cases, modifications, paternity suits, enforcements, terminations, and adoptions. She entered the legal field to help children and families through difficult and emotional times.
Maddie received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station and her doctorate in juris prudence from Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth. In law school, she was Senior Articles Editor on the Journal of Property Law, earning best article and publication for her article “A Clean Slate for Texas Foster Youth: Policy Recommendations on Preventing and Resolving Identity Theft for Youth in Foster Care.” Maddie interned with Kevin Schmid & Associates for her last year of law school and became an associate upon passing the Texas Bar Exam in November of 2018.
When not practicing law, Maddie enjoys spending time with her husband, Cory, and their two dogs, and exploring Fort Worth. She is actively involved in serving the community, volunteering with the Ladera Kids ministry through The Net Fort Worth and Alliance For Children. She has also served on the junior board of Gift of Adoption Texas Chapter and assisted Texas Appleseed through pro bono research and writing projects.
